- Unroll the pastry sheet and brush all over with milk.
- Spread the cheese over half of the sheet allowing for a margin of about 1/2 inch at each edge.
- Fold the pastry over to make a a parcel of cheese and press down to ensure it is sealed.
- Using a sharp knife cut the parcels into strips about 1 inch wide.
- Before placing each strip onto a greased baking sheet twist the strip ans press the ends onto the tray to ensure it keeps its shape.
- Cook in the oven 180 oC for approxiamtely 30mins or until pastry is puffed, crispy and golden.
- Remove and serve hot or cold.
I love these things and they are so easy to make but they make great finger food at a party and with Christmas just around the corner anything quick for the guests is a bonus!!!

It does sound easy! Unfortunately pastry sheets are rare finds here in the Philippines. Any suggestions on substitutes? Thanks :)
You could use any puff pastry from the shops, or make your own, then just roll it out very thinly into a rectangle. I was using a ready-rolled sheet here for sheer speed only.
Now those look delischious.
This looks great, and you could change the cheese depending on what kind of wine you are serving!
I made them for a party and they were gone before I knew it! Thanks for the easy tasty recipe.
